I am a New Zealand born, Grey Lynn raised Samoan,
from the villages of Mulifanua (Upolu) and Salelologa (Savaii).
I have been involved with Polyfest as a student performer and I
have had the pleasure of working with organisations that have
sponsored and continue to sponsor this amazing event.
I have worked in the tertiary sector for 15 years, including roles with several universities and polytechnics. My roles and experiences in Pasifika Liaison, Equity, Management and Pasifika Development have fuelled my passion to work alongside our young people and the communities that they represent.
Since beginning in August 2017, time has been spent reviewing current structures and processes, meeting key stakeholders and sponsors, as well as building my team. ASB Polyfest is a huge undertaking and I’m working hard to ensure that it continues to run smoothly while maintaining its purpose.
My team consists of these AMAZING people:
Simon Keely (Sponsorships Manager)
Dean Wilson (Media Liaison Manager)
Luvu Afemui (Operations Manager)
Lane Fa’afua (Schools Liaison Manager)
Lylla Leaupepe (Stalls Manager)
Angel Marii (Team Support/Activations Manager)
Audrey Samaseia (Team Support)
Valley Wandstraat (Communications Coordinator)
Sharne Takiaho (Operations Coordinator)
Thank you to The Polyfest Trust, Komiti Whakahaere made up of our incredible Stage Coordinators, ASB Bank, Sponsors and most importantly our Schools who make this event possible. My team and I look forward to working alongside you all.
Soifua, Ia Manuia
