From small beginnings, the Auckland Secondary Schools Maori and Pacific Islands Cultural Festival has become the largest of its kind in the world. This event is proudly hosted by Manukau City.
With record spectator numbers of 95,000 people attending in 2010, this year promises to be a more exciting and engaging festival.
The 2011 ASB Polyfest will be held on 16-19 March at the Manukau Sports Bowl, Manukau City.
Sir Edmund Hillary Collegiate will continue to host in 2011.
The festival is an iconic annual event that celebrates the pride and passion of our Maori and Pacific Island communities through cultural song, dance, speech and art. It is a place where we celebrate youth and all that they bring to the future.
As well as the 5 main stages - Maori, Cook Islands, Niue, Samoan and Tongan, there is an opportunity to view other cultures on Thursday through the Diversity Stage.
The ASB Polyfest is a Drug and Alcohol free event and we are proud to be.![]()
